MCYS and the Department of Sociology recently hosted Professor Maura Rosenthal from Bridgewater State University in Boston, Massachusetts.

This collaborative endeavour aimed to establish a COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) teaching program within the discipline of Sociology of Sport. Also working alongside the Manchester Institute of Sport this initiative is part of a broader effort by MCYS to enhance their teaching curriculum and explore new pathways in the sociology of sport. Additionally, they are seeking to expand their international Postgraduate Research (PGR) offerings. This partnership marks an important step forward in advancing academic excellence and international collaboration in the field.
